BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Tourism Development Department recently hosted a five-day familiarization programme for six travel agents from China specializing in Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE), aimed at showcasing the nation's unique blend of nature, culture, and hospitality.
According to the department on Thursday, a highlight of the programme was a beachside experience, a distinctive activity combining outdoor camping with Brunei's serene coastal scenery. Participants also toured several of the country's iconic landmarks.
During the visit, the department engaged with the Chinese travel agents to explore potential collaborations, including cross-marketing promotions to boost Brunei's visibility in the Chinese market.
Such programs play a key role in sustaining the positive trend while promoting Brunei as a premium yet peaceful destination for both leisure and business events. The initiative supports the growing momentum of Chinese travel to Brunei. ■
